As part of her ongoing doctoral research in the Neurosurgery – Novel Advancements PhD Programme at the University of Ioannina, PhD candidate Eleni Romeo contributed to a systematic review published in the international peer-reviewed journal Neurosurgical Review.
The study, entitled "The role of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis and prognosis of traumatic brain injury based on brain CT scans: a systematic review", examines the application of artificial intelligence to brain CT imaging, focusing on its potential to improve the diagnosis and prognostic assessment of traumatic brain injury (TBI).
This publication forms part of the theoretical and scientific foundation of her doctoral dissertation.
