Pantelis Bagiorgas

Pantelis Bagiorgas is a neurosurgery resident at the University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece, a position he has held since 2023. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2019 and is currently pursuing a PhD in neurosurgery, focusing on comparing the accuracy of stereotactic procedures between robotic and frame-based techniques. Pantelis is recognized for his hardworking nature, collaborative spirit, and strong organizational skills. His professional experience includes a residency in general surgery at Arta General Hospital, serving as a doctor at Voulgareli Health Center, and working as a paramedical teaching staff member at a private secondary school. Additionally, he served as a doctor in the Hellenic Army, further enhancing his clinical and organizational expertise.

Jetmira Kerxhaliu

Jetmira Kerxhaliu completed her medical studies and neurosurgery residency at Tirana University, Albania. She is currently working in the Neurosurgery Department of Mother Theresa University Hospital in Tirana, Albania. Over the past five years, Jetmira has specialized in managing brain tumor patients, including consultations and follow-ups, which has significantly enhanced her expertise in neurosurgery. In October 2023, she joined the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital of Ioannina as an Honorary Clinical Fellow for six months, focusing on a wide range of neurosurgical procedures.

Eleni Romeo

Eleni Romeo

Eleni Romeo is a neurosurgery resident at the University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece, and a PhD candidate in neurosurgery. Her thesis, titled “Diagnostic Approach to Traumatic Brain Injury: Combining Clinical Findings, Radiographic Features, and Biomarkers Using Artificial Intelligence,” reflects her strong focus on integrating clinical and technological advancements in neurosurgery. Eleni graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2022 and completed her Master’s degree in "Neurosciences: Linking Basic Research with Clinical Application" at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in April 2024. During her postgraduate studies, she conducted basic research on the role of dimethylspermidine in glioblastoma cell lines. Eleni is passionate about both clinical and basic research. Outside her medical pursuits, she has a background in competitive sports and remains active as a volunteer first aid trainer, educating citizens on emergency response skills.
